I matched it to a large mirror in the room, and now it looks like it was always meant to be a set! It was easy to do! I sealed the metallic top with plaster paint sealant. I painted the sides with true black one step. I painted the top with gold metallic paint, two coats. It suffered from wear and tear and a toddler! I cleaned the top really well then sanded it until smooth. I am very impressed with this paint! I decided to redo a dining room table top.

The color is absolutely gorgeous (ivory lace), the coverage is spectacular, and I painted a whole dresser with less than half of the can of paint. I’ve had a few scuffs on the cabinets in my kitchen. You might consider sealing it anyway if it’s a high traffic area. The formula is thick, it applies well, and dries well. I bought the paint and brushes from this shop and they were a breeze to use.
